Thanks Guys what a day my birthday pressie is 3 days at the Giro d'ITalia. Most of you that know me personally know I'm a massive cycling fan having raced myself many moons ago. So you'll know how special it is to have the worlds second biggest race on my door step this weekend. Had a lovely conversation this morning with Irish rider Dan Martin but unfortunately he suffered a massive crash today and is now out of the race. Anyway thanks for all the birthday wishes I'm now of to enjoy the rest of my birthday pressie weekend.
Dan Martin and myself this morning
My dream job would be driving this

Just brilliant Anthony!! The speed you get things done is breath taking never mind the uber realism!
Thanks Stephen a bit more work to do on the top level of the helix as its going to be integrated into the upper level of the layout.

Hi Anthony I think the coach on the rear that you think might be a mk3 looks like a mk2 in the new intercity livery of 1988 hence the upper dark colour of the coach, (might be wrong?)
No definitely think they are mk3's take a look at the length of them compared to the NIR coaches in the rake

They look OK to me. I might try one of the kits

I wasn't happy with my old helix, so I rebuilt it and as an oval adding an extra 3 foot.
The gradient is 2%. Here is the first test run and the locos now have a lot more pulling power
compared to the old helix and there ain't any wheel slippage.

Thanks Phil
