    Hi!
    I'm Tony....

I'm planning on building a modular, portable layout based on Northern Ireland near the border. It is fictional & not based on anywhere in particular with it's main station called 'Somewhere'.

I'm currently building two dioramas based on the embankment in Holywood by the sea-path of Belfast Lough. One for a display shelf, the other for a display cabinet. I'm also working on building two DeDietrich DVTs from Hornby MKIV & MIR 201, along with an additional 201 loco.

I like travelling, practically by rail, with my granda, my cat, & my mother.

My pronouns are He / They.

Hope you have a lovely day!
    - Tony.

  1. Whilst awaiting the two MKIV coaches to arrive from eBay & some other parts & materials for the diorama, I've made a start to designing the stations for the modular portable layout I'm hoping to start next year or so....

Here is Holyfast Station Hub design draft....

Happy with the top view, need to make the front & side wider.

Inspired by Belfast Grand Central (Weavers Cross) Station & Glasgow Queen Street Station....

The interior will be designed at a later stage.

The bus station section will hold 10 - 15 buses in the bus platforms whilst the train station section can hold five - 8 carriage trains.

As the design progresses, i'll update here.... as per usual, this project isn't a priority & will be slow.

    Thanks,

    Tony.
