i've no idea why the photos are coming out upside down, ive rotated them & they're still the wrong way up, it's a lot easier loading photos on a laptop rather than a tablet

My Homework this week as well as putting in a concrete floor in the shed.Not finished painting these yet & i keep changing the track layout as im not happy with it. Ive a new found respect for lads here with multiple roads,branches & points!!!!

Im with the lads on this, if this was OO gauge i'd be raving about the attention to detail but the fact its in N gauge is truly amazing work!!!! Well done!

The 071 Black and silver livery: Known as the Freight livery and as I've seen some UK fans call it Black Bess livery.

 

The new two tone green livery on the 29ks have been called Green Goddesses, don't know way myself.

I prefer 'Rail Lingus'!!!!!!

Generally i agree about the new motors but id generally do an annual examination of the mechanisms etc. The 071/201's haven t had much need for maintence but the 141/181's are starting to need a little bit more work. ANY secondhand purchases always get a full check up when they arrive whereas the new from the shop get only a good run in. All 50 plus locos run excellently now, even the a class is behaving itself .

I was driving a real 201 earlier & it was making funny noises, any ideas how to service it- answers to maintenance dept, Irish Rail!!!!!

Thanks Popeye, i used 'Revel Email Color' SM 364 which i got in Marks Models. The vans in the pictures weren't fully finished when i took the photos, i added another coat of yellow, glued down any loose stripes & added number plates to some of them.
