  1. Step 2: Place the track on the board and cut to size, theres a slight overhang but we'll trim that later after the ballast is all down
  2. Scenic How to: We are always asked how to do scenics so we thought we'd put together a 'How to' step by step on doing a scenic board. This is a small sample board that we'll have on display in store so you can view it in detail. If your apply these technics across your layout you can recreate the same as is shown here. If don't have room for full layout then a small board this size is great for displaying your models or using to photograph. If you've any questions on anything shown here feel free to post. Step 1: Starting off with our blank board we mark out roughly were we want the track to go
  3. Sorry Declan just spotted this, just as we'll we'd answered all the questions over email! Hope the decoders running great. Bass reflex speaker should be with you mid next week.

  7. For those of you who don't know us heres a quick blarb. The shop has been under new management since 1998 when we bought it from the previous owner. Since then we have refitted the shop to a much more customer friendly layout, we have built up the model railway dept and carry large ranges from the main manufacturers like Bachmann Branchline, Woodland Scenics, Hornby, Peco and Graham Farish. We also carry more selective items from Silverfox Dapol, Viessmann, Gaugemaster, Faller, Kibri, Walthers, Noch and many others. If we don't have a particular item you are looking for in stock just ask as delivery time from suppliers is generally two - three days. We are constantly developing and expanding our ranges with exciting plans for the months and years ahead. We carry out resprays of locos and coaches and also have a very popular weathering service all done in house with many regulars on Irish Railway Modeller being happy customers of both. As mentioned above we carry substantial range of Bachmann Branchline, Scenecraft, Graham Farish and Hornby, keeping most of the new releases from all. Whilst we cant always match the box shifters on price, we offer discounted prices on all locos and sound locos with loyalty discounts for regular customers so why not give us a try. We'll use the subforum here to put things we think are of interest to modellers, new releases, videos etc. If you are looking to contact us through irishrailwaymodeller quickest way is to PM Retro Herbie as he generally pops in to the forum a few times a week.
