    The idea for the layout supports was originally done 35 years ago by the Model Railway Society of Ireland for their exhibition layouts which provided ease of movement and strength.

    The reason for the traditional block rising walls was the building is beside a river and on that side stepped reinforced foundations were needed with approx. 5FT rising wall required on that side. Ground bearing reinforced floor slab just to be on the safe side.

    I remember the Marks kits on display there, I'm guessing the arrival of the Lima 201 shortly time would have had an impact on the 201? They had a 141 resin body on display for a while there, I never seen one painted.
