Kirley Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 A passenger train a half a mile long on tonight’s episode. Another programme on Narrow Gauge Railways “The Golden Age of Steam” started on BBC 4 at 10 pm tonight as well. Quote
Guest hidden-agenda Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 I have been very impressed with the extreme railways so far and its only a pity rte did,nt watch it and then make their own Irish version and the bbc4 programme is damn good makes for good viewing on the cold dark wintry nights. minister_for_hardship Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 (edited) Nice to see the preserved Pichi Richi Railway in South Oz getting some publicity in the pics, v. nice set-up they have too. Their numbersake to 'our' 186 featured in the movie 'Gallipoli' as No. 981 by the simple expedient of turning the numberplate upside down! Edited December 13, 2012 by minister_for_hardship Quote
