They're both on the Internet Archive:

I'd recommend using Open Rails if you're using a modern computer as vanilla MSTS doesn't run that well on them.

I seem to recall that MSTS worked alright on Win7 and 8/8.1 when my previous PC was running it.

I still have the original discs and packaging for both the Irish add-ons. North was quite accomplished for its day, but South struck me as being unfinished, especially once you got into Dublin.

I'm not sure if Irish routes will be covered again for the existing TS/TSW generation. I have some of the Swiss routes (RhB particularly) and the general look and feel of these are streets ahead of what was possible on MSTS.

Although Irish routes are suggested pretty frequently on the TSW forums, I doubt DTG think there's an audience for them. It would be neat to see though, especially if it were something like Bray-Drogheda in the '80s.

You can, and I do have the full route on my own Open Rails copy. From what I remember, you have to install North first, then when you install South it should recognise it. I believe North needs you to input the serial number as an anti-piracy measure too.

From the Enterprise South readme...

Linking to Irish Enterprise North
An additional installer is provided with Irish Enterprise South to link it with a previously
installed copy of Irish Enterprise North. This installer should run automatically at the end of
the install process for Irish Enterprise South.
In the event that the installer does not run at the end of installation or you subsequently
purchase Irish Enterprise North you will find a link in the start menu under Making Tracks >
Irish Enterprise South to run the linking installer.

Of course, who's to say some Windows update didn't break something at some point?
