Darius43 Posted April 16 Posted April 16 (edited) Looking at Google Streetview this looks like the location from the M2 side. The standard motorway crash barrier doesn’t seem to have been adequate to protect the permanent way - then again it’s prime purpose is to deform and absorb energy whilst preventing vehicles from crossing into the opposite carriageway, not necessarily to protect a railway.
