Was proofing an article today on the Swilly today by myself. Was pointing out to the editor how well kept the Swillu locos were even just before closure in 1953.

I did say towns not cities. Plus the two stations in Ballyshannon were a mile apart one at the top of the town and the GNR at the bottom which still survives today

Thanks Paul the Ballyshannon talk deals with with one of the few towns in Ireland to have 2 different railway stations with 2 different companies ond 2 different track gauges!
