  1. Yes indeed for Dublin Line buses to and from Newry to Belfast from May 10th now
  2. GVS will now close to all rail services from May 10th which is the new confirmed date for a series of work starting with extensive line closures over Easter.

  9. Fintown runs on 100% funded grants from Gaeltacht since they opened and the loss of some local volunteers has led to a gradual decline in their operations since Covid.
  10. Fintown run by local community not by those interested in railways similar problem with the Foyle Valley Museum
  11. Great show tonight on the County Donegal much better in person than by Zoom due to the rarity of many of the slides shown!
  12. Current GVS rail station yo become bus storage and partly retail.by 2025. After last week no more Enterprise diversions planned before current station closed and cleared in May
  13. Looks like Portadown line to close during the school.holidays in July and August York Road to open now end of April
  14. No cash machine close to the venue in Bangor either.

  16. GVS due to close to rail on May 24th and the rail section of the new Hub due to open early September at present
  17. Fintown fail to reply to phone callsc etc when I had a group over to see what is left of the County Donegal last year Drove to Fintown with visitors last summer and it was all locked up!
  18. Should have been used by Dublin to keep the Derry Road open in 1965 as the rail head for Donegal!
