wexfordloco10 Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 Hi Can anyone please help me last Wed 7 Aug I travelled to Drogheda on the 11am train from Dublin which was an Enterpise set However whilst waiting the 12.10 return from Drogheda which should have been an Enterprise set was in fact a class 29 A 3xxx CAF Unit no 3005 passed non stop en route to Dublin prior to this What was the reason for this Many thanks David Quote
UP6936 Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Most likely loco failure or an issue with the gen van on the set Quote
201bhoy Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Most likely loco failure or an issue with the gen van on the set Loco failure I think. Saw a 111 with 206 or 207 going towards Dublin. Quote
UP6936 Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Might have been 112 because she had been parked next to the sandite set at York road for a while and I noticed she had moved somewhere yesterday Quote
wexfordloco10 Posted August 10, 2013 Author Posted August 10, 2013 Hi Thanks for info 207 and 8208 were in Dublin at 11 am 29423 was the unit covering for the Enterprise but I do not know where it originated from Belfast?? or further south 29423 then went on as 1335 to Rosslare Europort David Quote
wexfordloco10 Posted August 21, 2013 Author Posted August 21, 2013 Hi All I have received information that the class 29 in fact started from Dundalk as a replacement Many thanks David Quote
Garfield Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Heard that the 18.05 Belfast-Dublin service on Thursday was delayed... due to a failed speedometer. Quote
