They're also looking at removing all staffed ticket offices and turning them into Amazon drop off zones!

 

On the other hand, having lived in London for a couple of years it's fair to say that the tube is wonderful. A fantastic mode of public transportation. What amazed me was how intensely it was worked considering just how old it is.

 

The biggest drawback at the time I was using it was the different sub-surface (Metropolitan, Circle, Hammersmith and City and District) using the same infrastructure causing massive delays compared to say the Northern or Victoria lines. I feel this is a mistake being made by the Luas once it's joined up.
