Hornby Elinl/Railmasster

Hi Everone. I haven't visited for quite some time, but more of that elsewhere.

Have any members of IRM got any experience or knowledge of the Hornby Elink/Railmaster software system.

If its rubbish, then I don't want to waste my money.

I've had experience with the select and elite, and tried out railmaster (with the elite)

 

Honestly, its actually quite good!

Thanx Boskonay, I am intending to use it with my Laptop, dispensing with my Select.

It's a good plan and you wont' know yourself with the improvement from the select. More functions, better running, etc. The elink is also updatable from your laptop as new features, etc, are released.

E link is a good system, but it's only rated at 1 amp so it limits the amount of locos you can run at the same time.

Good point Dave - you can buy an upgraded 4A supply - http://www.hornby.com/digital-15v-4-amp-transformer.html - well recommended if you plan to run a few Sound locos together
