Loco maintenance?

Hi guys,

 

what the best oil \ lubricant to use on locos?

 

I've a variety or Lima, Hornby, Bachmann and other makes with the usual variety in motors . I've taken a few apart and renewed the solder and wiring on the older models , wheel cleaning which has made impressive difference in the running .
