Spray or paint with a brush advantages & disadvantages

still undecided as to repaint some old coaches or take the plunge and buy a spray gun as I don't know the advantages and disadvantages of either of the above could the guys with a wealth of experience please advice

If you are going to repaint more than a few, buy an airbrush. Hand painting is for garden fences and figurines.
