TARA MINES wagons

A question for the Group

 

I would like to know the history of the Tara Mines wagons and in particular the following questions

 

1. When and for how long did the Wagons run in their Blue colour for in real life?

2. When di the tops/lids change from ribbed to Flat ? I understand that the change came about as a result of storm damage at the time

 

Dates around these two questions would be much appreciated - apologies if these questions were asled in some previous thread

Something I'd like to know myself. Also about the 3 shale wagons that were converted to taras and when. They would have had lids made for them.
