Gavin Hamilton Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 Hi All, Learnt my first lesson - don't ask two questions in my first post because only one will get answered! I saw, on I think TG4 catchup (not 100% sure as the original email went missing during a microsoft 'recovery') a TV program, which I didn't think to copy, which featured the Ballycastle branch starting with an NCC 0-6-0T and ended showing an S Class on the viaduct at Ballycastle - does anyone have a copy they can sell me or know what the program was called so I can purchase a copy? This was one of a series of programs, most of which I was able to watch at the time but I can't remember the series title, if I ever knew it Regards Gavin Quote
airfixfan Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 Remember the series it was on TG4 a few years ago. Have you searched YouTube? 1 Quote
Gavin Hamilton Posted May 4, 2020 Author Posted May 4, 2020 Can't remember the series title, without the title a search is difficult Quote
Bentleypat Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 (edited) I think the series you’re referring to was titled Iarnrod Uladh ( produced by Waddell Media and aired on TG4) https://www.inishowennews.com/012SwillyRailway009.htm Edited May 4, 2020 by Bentleypat 1 Quote

Gavin Hamilton Posted May 4, 2020 Author Posted May 4, 2020 I eventually found the email address for TG4 to enquire but I had to put my county down as 'other' to complete the form, whether I will hear anything back from them? I'll do some digging for Iarnrod Uladh to see if this is what I'd seen originally, if It's in Gaelic I'm stuffed, I can just about follow French but.. Gavin Quote
Gavin Hamilton Posted May 4, 2020 Author Posted May 4, 2020 Found the contact details for the producers of the series, which confirms it is the program I'd seen so am now waiting to hear if they sell it on DVD. Gavin Quote
Gavin Hamilton Posted May 4, 2020 Author Posted May 4, 2020 Got a very fast response from Weddell Media, try them again later in the year when we are back to the 'new normal', which wasn't a total no, so if available I'll purchase the box set, unless someone has one they can copy for me ? airfixfan Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 No but would be interested in a copy of that series which has subtitled myself as well. 1 Quote
