Thanks Warb, and it's great to have the photo showing the 2 doors in the north elevation.  I take it that the dividing wall runs perpendicular to the doors?  When I enlarged my first photo above I was amazed to see that the windows in the west elevation were latticed.  They obviously had great pride in what they were building.

Can you recall how it's finished on the inside - brick, painted, timber cladded?

As far i remember brick painted and one section was plastered. If You look carefully you can see an advertisement for mattersons on the tank
