  1. Dimensions for this layout are .Right hand side section with bridge and helix 20 ft x 4 ft Opposide side 16 ft x 4 ft and under construction. Much to be done. The section at window measures 11 ft x 2 ft.. including the two side sections.. Pat Yes making progress but much to do. The long winter nights are good for this work.

  3. Thanks for your comments. Yes a lot going on so the next section will be a countryside area with few buildings and more scenery. Cheers Pat
  4. Hi Paddy . All the buildings are made from wood. 3mm hardboard and 12mm mdf used for gable ends. I will upload the trackplan soon. Cheers Pat
  5. Hello everyone and Happy new year, Welcome to my new model railway layout which I thought I would share with you all. I am a newcomer to this website. I have been working on this model railway layout for the past few months and still quite a lot to do. I made all the buildings and boats as I could not find suitable ones to buy. The layout is currently dc and I planned to have one of the three lines dcc later. Future plans are to include a model of the old railway station and outbuildings in Clifden. The line of buildings on the upper level are modelled from the old houses near Galway docks. Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated. Hope you like the layout Pat
