What's the electrical switchgear used for on a tanktainer? Some site of heating element?

That would be my guess as well.

It says food stuffs only and if you look a small expansion tank from the tank instead of a drain , the pics were taken in Isotank at Immimingham so it was in there for cleaning .

Might have had treacle in it !! one tank getting washed out smelt fantastic

    Hi Arran,

Perfect pick to go with the 42ft flats, my only criticism is the numbers on the tanks aren't accurate, but that's nit picking in the extreme! (For future ref/re-runs the Bruhns are BTEU2541xxx and the GCAs are GCAU79xxxxxxx!)

    Are these available now?

    Regards

    Andrew

    HI Andrew

All =C=Rail= liver info is taken from pics where possible, these two match the models .

    Welcome to the minefield.

  3. HI All

There are plenty containers in the range that complement what has been seen and can be currently seen running in Ireland , i can in the future do more Bell 40ft and if i had the Info a 20ft B+I in the blue, they did exist apparently .

Next especially because they are seen on current liners in Ireland  are the GCA Tainer and BRUHN tanks and they are getting manufactured now so by early October for them.

  4. HI All

I got a new batch of Bell 20fts but they are the old style 20fts which are more prototypical, i dont have any info on Dana so good all round pics along with colours and its a good one to do, Bruhn i have all the info.

B+I 20ft I've never seen although going by records they must have had them, The CIE 40ft i never new existed till that pic this week but my 40ft with the advertising panels is as close as it can get, so that can be done unless IMR want a run for the wagons , the BELL and B+I 40 fts we supplied for the project 42 wagons look good and its great to be involved bringing accuracy and models to the hobby that take it to the next level.

I have some loads more old style containers left to do as well as the ones you would have seen on new style containers but the earlier years like MOL with the croc on the box Orange NYK to mention some.

The C-rail containers are 'flat' and need holes drilled into the base of the container a the appropriate spacing to hold on the IRM 42' flats, correct?

    HI All

They are Not flat and have locating holes at the corners like most makes, getting containers to fit on some flats needs adjusting but thats down to different standards unlike NMRA which seem to have pins which  look crap.

I tried my containers on the Hattons wagon the other week and they fitted as they should .

  7. HI All

I don't have any info on Dana tanks, and I mean good quality pics you can work from not just images of the web.

Also good pics of B+I 20ft containers to as they would go well with the bells and any RTR container chassis I am sure will follow from some?

    Regards Arran
