Th tan bus livery looked okay until it faded, preferred the blue and cream and subsequent green myself. Mind you all are better than the current scheme!

I think the main problem with the tan livery is that there was no relief colour. They just painted everything the one colour (except the windows of course!).

We need a return to a green livery on buses.

I have to agree with you that paying the extra for a decoder just to operate the cab lights is a not the best use of your money. How often do you see locos running around with cab lights on?

Not quite accurate to describe it as 150 years since the first London Tube journey. The Metropolitan was (is) subsurface rather than deep level tube line but I wouldn't mind being at that celebration in January. Will any tickets appear on ebay?

I see the current issue of Model Rail (Jan '13) has a very complimentary review by Ben Jones of the 071 / 111 models.

How could it be anything but complimentary?

Unfortunately due to surprisingly low orders of the kit I have decided not to do a kit version. There was one or two orders and these will be delivered but no further kit orders will be taken.

I'm not surprised as it would be very difficult to finish a kit to your standards, David.

Well, they have Rafa and I think they are fortunate that they do. The only man who can bring Torres back for them, if that is possible at this stage.

£42.50 (not euro) plus postage for each kit.

If the model is to have an interior, glazing and realistic doors then it is not what was on display at Raheny. We can only comment on what we have seen. I'm sure everyone will reasses their opinions when we see the improved models.
