  1. Soviet T62 tank, MAZ 537 tank transporter and trailer. 1:14 scale. All designs by me and 3d printed.
  2. I'm using Fusion, it's free for hoddy use. I also have Solidworks but prefer Fusion as I find it easier to use.
  3. Just break it down into components parts, water tanks, coal bunker, cab, ect. Majority will be printed in resin so that the fine details will still show. All the gray parts in this photo are resin, the white parts are pla filament. Filament is stronger but less detail, resin is great for details but can be brittle. When you are printing small scales, filament isn't an option but good if its 1:16 scale.
  4. Scratch built these many years ago before 3D printing was a thing. One of my more recent CAD designs, 3D printed at 1:16 scale.
  5. A bit more done tonight.
  6. New project time. GNRi QGT No. 98. Just got started today so still a fair bit to go, Using a Bachmann Class 56XX as a donor for the running gear although the rear wheels will need to be moved. Once I get the cad done I think it will be mosty 3D printed in resin, getting the details with a FDM printer could be a bit of a challenge. I'm having to work from photos as I haven't yet found any technical drawings of the QGT's. I'm hoping most of the dimensions are similar to the Q Class.
  7. Thanks for the reply. It's actually new old stock from when I had a model shop, I also have three of the Preservation Society's carriages in the same condition. They have been stored in plastic boxes for years in my roof space, might be time to get rid of them as I'm more interested in GNRi steam.
  8. Could anyone give me an idea of how much this is worth, it's never been used.
  9. Took these photos about 20 years ago, might be useful to someone as reference photos. I think the station has now been renovated into a house. A few more.
  10. I made this Q class a few years ago, based on a Hornby T9. Thought about using a T9 as a base for the BT but the driven wheels are too big. Is it possible to fit smaller wheels and adjust the height of the front bogie ?
  11. Thought they were, this is Dromore, would they have been used that far out of Belfast ? Thanks for the reply.
  12. What could these be , bread wagons ? The are on a GNR(i) line. Thanks,
  13. Hi what did GNR(i) use as shutters? Were there any 0-4-0 or 0-6-0 used ? So far I have found the Class BT and the Class RT but nobody seems to make a locomotive that I could use as a base to scratch build one. Anyone know of anything I could use. Don't want to go bigger than a 4-4-0 as my planed layout only has a small goods yard. Thanks, Noel.
  14. Hi, would you happen to have any blueprints of the GNR(i) Q class loco, numbers were roughly 120 - 136, thanks Noel.
