  1. Comes with a length of rail, but I decided after reading up online to thread it into the middle of a standard 3 foot length for better results. Lovely simple little kit, tho Bachmann are promising a nice looking one too (listed on their site but no sign of a real one as yet)
  2. Anthony's right - unlike the real thing, you can still run a healthy freight flow on your layout Beets, Cement (bogies and bubbles), Timber, Container Flats, Tara Mines stock... lots of fun to be had
  3. My short list would be - Supertrain - IE - Freight - NIR Ah hell, why make a list, I'll take all and anything Paddy makes! For running, I'll be hopefully buying a small freight fleet, and a few in IE orange as thunderbirds
  4. But then the Orange IE and Freight will be the most in demand... catch 22
  5. She's a stunner Anthony
  6. From the support forums, it looks like the image might be .gif but is actually a .png or .jpg - try changing the filename and trying again?
  7. Not yet. I've a matching class 80 DMU, but need to work my way towards the maroon coaches. Right now she runs 'preserved' with RPSI stock
  8. Odd, try changing the image to a .jpg or .png ?
  9. Wow! Kinda shows the cost of small-run irish stuff Still, 80 wagons to weather - how bad could it be
  10. I'm sure Dave will sort you out with all the toys
  11. ah the poor bridge - tho 40 of them looks nice :):)
  12. Don't help the man rationalise a desire for 40 wagons!!!
  13. any video of that!!!???
  14. From ebay, etc, the Limas are going for around the 100-150 mark, about the same, broadly speaking as the new version, but wrenn will be along shortly I am sure to set the record straight!
  15. Sweet plan!

  21. First, locate the picture you want to use. If you want to copy it from an old forum, open your old profile and just drag the image to your desktop (or right click and choose 'save as') Once you have the image, click on http://irishrailwaymodeller.com/prof...?do=editavatar From there you can upload your avatar.
  22. It's a bit hard to see, but in pic 2 above that's the floor you can see through the board A couple of minutes with the drill and jigsaw
  23. Looking good - feels more familiar already
  24. Start to finish was just an hour - Is a lovely addition to a layout! One of my 'to-do' projects is to fit lights to it!
