I hope you made it there burnthebox as you'd have been lucky to find enough snow out there to make a snowball. The temps in the clubhouse seemed okay too, Dave didn't appear to be bothered by the weather.
Hi ya sulzer and all, don't know what part of the country your in, but I was lucky to get home on Sat. about 6pm, on the way we skidded into bank broke front light, bent fender, snow is about 2-3 inches as I type, I won't be in work tomorrow, too risky, so I hope you got some bargin's, as for wrenneire he is'nt bothered by anything, except profit
-
Hi guys & thanks for that, will check those out, when the " S...W " go's,

Hi RANGERMOUSE & welcome to the sIte, you'll get lots of help on here, no charge, even the abuse is free, as for the weathering, it's just magic, pure " GUNDGE " keep up the good work,

Hi & thanks Sulzer201 for mentioning that four letter word, beginning with "S . . W " which now has me stuck here at home not able to consider going to Bray tomorrow, anyway, maybe I'll get some HEAT here,

i have abox full of old model rail mags.probably 30-40 in all, start from around 10 years ago up to about 5 years ago,was keeping them for future references but not needed anymore, free to anone that wants to collect them or they'll be binned.
Hi irishtrains2730, don't bin them whatever you do, give them to a club somewhere that will have them for reference
-
Hi cogleyl, I don't have a layout as yet, as for DCC, with the many options of DCC controlers that are available, I would'nt think of anything else but DCC, I have a few loco's that have all the "bells & whistles" and you have the power to control every speed and sound of each loco at your fingers, for me it's like been a signalman, to send your trains at whatever speed you like, the choice is yours, but enjoy which ever you decide on,

Yes, it is prone to tilting and losing its contents - from experience.
Your'er not supposed to be on the Jemmy while lifting these loco's

I have been approached by an embarrassed modeller who is forced to sell some stock
His offer was too expensive for me as everything was priced at full value and hence no chance of making my usual
exorbitant profit on it
However the stock is of such high quality that I suggested I would flash it to the great unwashed
No layout so everything is as it came out of the shop
And remember they are his prices not mine so little or no room for negotiation
Lima set 149439, Galways x 2 €150 each
Lima Set 149439-1 Mk3 x 2 + Mk 2 x 1 (2 sets) €150 each
River Corrib River Erne River Blackwater River Dargle €150 each
MM141 MM165 MM181 MM188 €110 Each
MM142 MM161 MM182 MM190 €100 EACH
If there is any interest I can arrange delivery at the Stillorgan Show next Sunday it that suits?
Why not bring them to Stillorgan anyway, may get some sale's
