  1. Luve the loco's, the blue NIR is amazing i hope i can make mine look like that, it's so real. I still havn't got used to that grey colour, maybe in time.

What was wrong with the silver/black ?

  2. Thanks for your comments. It might be better to put all pictures in one thread, it would be easier to see all the pictures in one place.

The white dust staining on the side is just light grey paint dry brushed until you get the effect you want.

  3. Here are few pic's of a NIR Ballast Wagon that was made from a Cambrian Models Kit C67 SR 40t Hopper Wagon. Tranfers from SSM & Ballast is from Woodland Scenics medium gray. Paint is Humbrol Insignia Yellow 154. It's not a bad kit to put together but some tricky parts on the two ends.

  4. The chassis that was used on both Parkside Dundas 10ft underframe kit PA16 £2.00 or 12 ft kit PA10 £2.00. They are cheap & you can modify as you like.

I changed the brakegear & made my own buffers to make it look more irish.

  5. It took a few months to build on and off. The lookouts or duckets were taken from an old brakevan. Here is a pic of my Ploughvan

also too short & the duckets made from plasticard it's hard to get the shape just right. the lines on the glass were made by scrapping lines across with a pin & run a black marker over the glass then wet your finger & rub it off then some will stay in the lines

    that you made.

  6. Here are a few pic's of a CIE Brakevan that i built. It's not the right length, it's a 10ft wheelbase and i believe it should be 12ft. But i had started

to build before i found out about the correct length. To late now.

  7. Hi Guy's,

I have a Metcalfe station for sale built by myself & never used. It has been weathered and the front canopy changed.

It is like new and made to a high standard. I would like to get around £40. If interested or any questions you can let me know.

I live in Belfast and it would be too fragile to post so it would be best if it could be collected. I also have two straight

platforms about 3ft long & a very small waiting shelter included. Here is a pic.
