DJ Dangerous Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 Nice slideshow of Irish transport photos. Mainly buses and trams. Quite a few Leyland LD looking vans. Nobody seems to do them in 1:76, only 1:43. Curious about the bus around 00:52. Looks like one of those EFE Leyland Atlanteans. 1
Tarabuses Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 The bus you refer to at 0:52 is a Belfast Daimler Fleetline. EFE did make a model but used their MCW body casting whereas Belfast Fleetline's had local MH Coachworks bodies. 1
DJ Dangerous Posted February 20, 2023 Author Posted February 20, 2023 Sorry, Daimler Fleetline is what I meant! So the EFE casting is useless for them?
Tarabuses Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 It depends on how accurate a model you want. The MH Coachworks body was similar to the MCW as you can see if you compare this photo of the model with the actual bus. 1
