hurricanemk1c Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Honestly all I do is look at the 1:1 figure and divide by 76.2, that gives you the scale measurement. It's as simple as that!
Ironroad Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 I find it easier to multiply the imperial measurements in feet by 4 and treat the answer as millimeters. 4mm = 1ft, equates to 1/762.
Broithe Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 For stuff bigger than rolling stock, like larger buildings and the general layout, scale rules can be convenient. Marked out in feet and with 3" submarks, on one side. And in metres and 100mm submarks on the other side. 1 1
