At last I have the opportunity to attend the acclaimed dramatic production 'Impact' which tells the story of the Armagh railway disaster in 1889.  I shall be there this Saturday evening - the production is taking place at the Market Place Theatre in, appropriately, Armagh.

I shall of course provide a report afterwards!

Looking forward to this very much.

It was an excellent production - a few minor glitches but otherwise very nicely done, with a particular emphasis on the large number of children among the victims.  A particularly poignant touch was the featuring of a character who was based on the statue (on The Mall) of a young girl holding a bucket and spade.

Nicely done overall with many 'lump in the throat' moments.

Well done to all concerned.

Excellent. My Latin teacher at school had the middle name ‘Lynn’ which was handed down through the family in memory of Surgeon-Major Lynn who had saved the life of a family member that day.
