DERAILED Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Three interesting and scarce Tralee & Dingle titles looking for a good home. 1) The classic history of the T&D by Pat Whitehouse - hard to get in any condition and this one is in virtually unread condition with an intact dustwrapper. 2) The more recent and, almost as scarce, "The Dingle Train" by Walter McGrath, David Rowlands and Tom Francis - also in very good condition. 3) The ultra-rare 1987 reprint of the 1911 official T&D guidebook (36 pages + cover). A new addition available for €20 including p+p on island of Ireland is a copy of "Rly Lines of Coras Iompair Eireann and NIR" by Hirsch & Doyle. In mint condition internally - except for the remains of a tiny price sticker inside the front cover and the name (!) of the bookshop in biro. Does not in any way detract from the book. Back cover has a couple of very slight dinges. Rare in any condition - especially at this price. SOLD!! I also have nine issues of "Narrow Gauge News", the newsletter of the Narrow Gauge Rly Society, for sale. Issues date from 1986 -1997 and contain items of Irish interest.
