Mark 3 coaches

Hi all.

Here an Irish Railway modeller from the Netherlands. Rolling stock is hard to get. I see some wagons from IRM going for sale for over 500 Euro's on Ebay.

Does anyone know how or where I could get some respray's of Mk3 coaches?

As an alternative, if you don’t want to wait for Mk3’s, the Lima models are quite nice, to my eye. Not prototypical, but they appear on eBay from time to time,

Me personally, I’d value them around €40 each, but that’s quite subjective.

You could also contact Silver Fox if you wanted some right now:

To me, they’re a less attractive option than the Lima’s due to the price, but they are still a viable option.

Sadly, Silver Fox stopped doing their Mk3 DVT’s, as did DC Kits, so your only option is second-hand…

In addition to IRM's own shop, there are a few other Irish retailers which will often have items still in stock after IRM sell out:

The UK retailers also carry Irish stock. Rails of Sheffield's website will also carry pre-owned Irish models.
