DJ Dangerous Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Does anybody here run ACE Trains? Any feedback on them? Their website is quite nice, well laid out and functions well on the mobile. I know that @roy mentions them briefly in his Dream City Railway thread, but there's not much more said about them. Rails of Sheffield have several used listings: https://railsofsheffield.com/products/pre-owned-br-green-4-6-2-britannia-class-hereward-the-wake-70037-steam-locomotive https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/204844195904 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/195847390542 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/195862386467 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/196206029155 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/204373112325 Just curious! Galteemore Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Retro tinplate style. Designed for shed or garden layouts with long runs and an emphasis on operation and sheer atmosphere over detail. Classic and most enjoyable stuff, but a world away from Finescale. 1 Quote
Northroader Posted September 22 Posted September 22 They tend to do short runs of popular prototypes, and outsource the production to ETS Trains, a Czech outfit. They do coarse scale 0 gauge, mainly retro tinplate with an enamel finish. 1 Quote
Galteemore Posted September 22 Posted September 22 Have a look at raylo.co.uk for more of this kind of thing Quote
