gatwicks on the bantor line

Good news, I have just been awakened to see an unidentified 111 plus two gatwicks going past my bedroom window near sydenham station. I'm going to head out soon and wait on the platform for them to come back. I will post up any good pictures I take later on today

The 2 Gatwicks + 112 have been sitting on the York Road siding nearest the M2 for the past 2 days. Not sure where they would be going as the centre road in Bangor is occupied by stored Castle Class Units.

Probably to move the castle class? The 111s would need the Mk2fs to couple to the castle's buckeyes.

yep found out they where collecting the 450s for a transfer to ballymena where they are to be scrapped. I took some photos of the move which I will upload when I get to my computer
