Dapol Prestwin chassis

Can the chassis be purchased on its own or do you have to buy something like the Dapol 20 Ton Twin Silo Cement Wagon kit? thanks

Not seen the chassis only as a kit so think you have to buy the whole thing as a kit then just build the chassis.

Just wondering if anyone has ever told Dapol of the importance of this kit to Irish Modellers? (By 'told', I mean at a formal level). Surely they could run of say 1000 units with just the chassis? Just a thought.

Dapol do a rtr chassis that has similar dimensions to the

prestwin.It has nem pockets and runs very well.I don't

know as regards how accurate it is compared to the

prestwin and on price,as I got some with my cement

wagons.The Dapol website shows lots of different wagon

chassis,not sure which it is but I can post up photo later.
