Old Magazine Articles?

I have a huge collection of model railways magazines going back years. Not only do I find Irish related stuff, but also great ideas for layouts and so on. Am I allowed to post these articles here or is there copyright issues?

I would expect there would be copyright issues (Irish and UK copyright law i think is pretty similar), whether or not the copyright holder is prepared to do anything is a different matter. If you want to avoid copyright issues, you could reference the Irish stuff - issue, page nos, author and title etc. so that people can go source the article themselves.

@Auto-Train Original Copyright is protected for the lifetime of the original author plus 70 years after his/her death. This is for UK and Ireland.    As @Flying Snail mentioned above, if you want to post anything then its best to just reference the articles concerned.

This is a useful suggestion. Just wondered has anyone previously created an index of Irish related articles from magazines?

7mm Narrow Gauge Society and 009 Society both offer indexes to articles.  

None of those are comprehensive, but New Irish Lines is a solid start.  I highly recommend subscribing.
