heustonconnolly Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Does anybody know which enterprise services are operated by the de dietrich set 9004 on Saturdays, as I dont want to travel on a caf or ICR Quote
jhb171achill Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 There's an hourly bus......... !! ;-) Quote
Jawfin Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 http://www.translink.co.uk/Services/Enterprise/Routes--Timetables/All-Timetables/ The ones with the '1' and the cutlery only are DD services Quote
jhb171achill Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Apparently the dining cars in the "new" DD train will be "different". Anyone know how, why, or - for example - will it be possible for one of the Great Unwashed (standard class) to go up to it and have a sit-down breakfast like on a Mk 4 set? Quote
hurricanemk1c Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 (edited) As far as I know yes jhb - the free 'stools' will be replaced with proper seats. Think they will still be standard class (going on the direction of the buffet, with the counter towards First Class) Jawfin - the 5pce ICR has first class and catering on board. De Dietrich diagram is as follows: Monday-Saturday: 0800 Belfast Central - Dublin Connolly 1100 Dublin Connolly - Belfast Central 1405 Belfast Central - Dublin Connolly 1650 Dublin Connolly - Belfast Central Sunday: 0900 Belfast Central - Dublin Connolly 1200 Dublin Connolly - Belfast Central 1605 Belfast Central - Dublin Connolly 1900 Dublin Connolly - Belfast Central 5-car ICR is as follows: Monday-Saturday: 0735 Dublin Connolly - Belfast Central 1035 Belfast Central - Dublin Connolly 1320 Dublin Connolly - Belfast Central 1605 Belfast Central - Dublin Connolly 1900 Dublin Connolly - Belfast Central 2115 Belfast Central - Dublin Connolly Sunday: 1000 Dublin Connolly - Belfast Central 1305 Belfast Central - Dublin Connolly 1600 Dublin Connolly - Belfast Central 1905 Belfast Central - Dublin Connolly NIR 3000-class: Monday-Saturday: 0650 Belfast Central - Dublin Connolly (3pce MTO) 0935 Dublin Connolly - Belfast Central (3pce MTO) 1235 Belfast Central - Dublin Connolly 1520 Dublin Connolly - Belfast Central 1805 Belfast Central - Dublin Connolly 2050 Dublin Connolly - Belfast Central Sunday: 1105 Belfast Central - Dublin Connolly 1400 Dublin Connolly - Belfast Central ---- An additional 0755 Dundalk - Dublin Connolly runs Monday-Friday as relief to the 0650 ex Belfast Edited August 17, 2015 by hurricanemk1c Quote
Jawfin Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Yes, but the key I mentioned - the DD services - don't have the star for reduced first class capacity Quote

JHB, seating in the Dining Cars will be for standard class passengers. Whether it will be reserved for those wishing to eat and what level of catering will be offered is not clear yet. One down side is that, due to the high level windows, views will be somewhat restricted. The Wanderer featured a photo study of the first refurbished set on 16.11.2015, including this photo of the seating area in 9402: Quote
