Weshty Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 Great shots in that video and familiar to anyone who has cycled the new Deise Greenway.
RedRich Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 Already been on a walk with the wife and kids Des and it is amazing the amount of people that are using it. It was always one of the most scenic railway journeys and it can be enjoyed again albeit without the trains. I don't think I have seen as many people in Tramore this summer, the Spraoi festival didn't put a dent in it. What would it be worth to have the seven miles of track with vintage steam or diesel preserved trains running on it today. It was so unique in being the only standard gauge passenger service not attached to the rest of the network. Very poor decision to lift it when the axe fell. Rich,
