MadBenNI Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 I'm looking mk2's in the NIR Bumblebee or Gatwick's livery or any NCC locos that are dcc ready. Only looking if the price is right and not ridiculous high. Quote
Newtoncork Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 Hi MadBenNI, There are really only two options, pick up a set from Chris Dyer at the Stillorgan Hotel sales or buy a set of Airfix Mk2's and do a respray. Neither are ideal or match the prototype but are a good approximation. Hope this helps, NewtonCork Quote
jhb171achill Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 If you're looking for NCC coaches, these of course would be steam era (which on the NCC was up to 1970). There are many cheaper LMS coaches for sale (ebay, Hattons, Mark's Models, etc) which are suitable for repaint, but would probably need a "Jeep" to hail them. NCC locos - the "Jinty" crops up fro time to time, though as far as I know it only ever shunted Belfast docks. Quote
WRENNEIRE Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 Talk to this chap He seems to produce some cheap stuff, scroll down through all his listings https://www.adverts.ie/models/nir-mk2-coaches/13243584 Quote
