Wondering what the best fit chassis is to fit the resin body that DCKits supply as a DVT kit please.   There's nothing provided with it with suggestions.

thanks everyone.

Deleted (read question twice, answer once.... like the leaving cert advice, I suppose)

EDIT: I presume that the underbody of the DVT would be very similar  to other MK3s which would be available in BR colors from a number of manufacturers, Hornby, Bachmann?, Oxford etc, possibly all slightly different lengths etc. I think the Oxford one is lit etc and could be adapted for a DVT?

Hi Drew.

I have the Silver Fox MK3 PP driving trailer. The chassis seems to be a modified selection of plasticard with the middle underfloor section of a mk3 coach cut out and glued on,and also a section for the under floor aux engine that ran on these.

I will try to post a photo later.

Hi

Sorry, I didn't reply sooner.  Been on holidays.   Thats useful info.  Charlie came back to my question too and suggested a Lima Mk 3.    Pity he didn't suggest Hornby, a little easier to obtain.

Thanks

Andrew

The chassis on the silver fox seems to be a cut away centre section from a mk 3 coach which is glued onto a plati card base section.Part of the under mk3 section is cut away to allow the under floor engine parts that provide coach lighting etc.I hope this makes some sort of sense.I will try to get a photo.
