Wagon tarpaulins in Britain usually had the company name and some sort of identifying marks on them, to ensure they got sent back to their owners and probably for accounting purposes too.
Was this also the case in Ireland? If so, did markings change from pre-grouping, through GSR and CIE?
Needless to say, have some open wagons I'd like to cover.
