Very impressive! The oily, dirty look under the shed looks very lifelike!

I always am impressed by quality modelling done a long time ago.
It must have been so much harder to do anything 'back then' such as getting or sourcing materials or equipment, no quick 'googling' of an image if you were trying to recreate something and the costs must have been proportionately so much more expensive than today.
Fair play on this- looks great!

Cheers! Most of all that weathering on the wagons, containers etc was thanks to Irrailways Weathering Services from @Dempsey here!

Great news- If only it led to a move back to evening movements down Alexandra Road instead of night time....!!

Yes John- from regularly stalking the IWT liner at North Wall for years, coupled with hours of watching videos of lrish container trains on-line going back a decade or so (l need to get out more), l too previously tried to piece together what available containers would suit a modern liner.
CAI / CRONOS / EVERGREEN / GENSTAR / HAPAG LLOYD / K LINE / MSC / MAERSK / OOCL / ONE OCEAN / CMA CGM/ HAMBURG SUD / KYK LOGISTICS / TIPHOOK.
20 ft Tankers: BRUHN / GCA TAINER / DANA / EUROTAINER / HOYER
Hope it helps.

Deffo a 40' as the 45's have the inboard anchor points (to allow stacking with 40s) as can be seen on the third container which is a 45' Hi Cube in the same pic. Don't think the pic is correctly captioned however. That's surely the retro livery with those leds I would have thought.
Agreed- Definitely not 1987- with the 45' Cobelfret, it looks recent enough from the last few years at most, but shows the Evergreen does appear.

The Murphy's tanks are on hire to replace some of the older DCIU tanks I believe, some of the DCIU tanks are at least 18 years old
...and they look every day of it too!

Great videos- definitely a great era just slightly too early for me. Push forward just one decade and you have the greatest era in lrish Railways!!!!! (Am sure l will be in minority though )

Any major info about the IE 201 Class?

Great idea- l know l will be in the minority but l am a big fan of anything 201-related!!
I like the fact they are still around hauling passenger trains, aswell as the freight and you can see them 'up close' everyday.
The 201 'yellow faces' began in the orange livery in 2005 and the Green/Silver 'Intercity' livery began (with the same 'yellow faces') in mid 2006.
