It was an amazing day-  to get SO close to 201's & 071's (even closer than at Alexandra Road) was brilliant, aswell as 'behind the scenes' for what goes into keeping them onto the 'road' was excellent.

Well done to everyone for organising it 👏👏👏

Sean you can incorporate semaphores/servo motors into your computer control also. In fact you can do some cool stuff with the right equipment, like simulating the way a semaphore really moved in reality, often going up slightly before moving down as the cable tension was applied to be able to release the lever or whatever. The bounce of a semaphore as it gets to the top or bottom can also be simulated.

Would love to see that in action, even though it's outside my era.

    Any photos or vids?

  3. Hi Bob.

Just had a look in the attic there- it's John's Model Railways and Barnabas Junction on You Tube- see photo.    The signage and hi-viz strips l added later.

Always pays never to throw anything out!!! 😁😁

    Hope it helps!

  4. Cheers Bob- thanks!

The platform roofs were a kit many years ago on Ebay in pre-Brexit times- l got it as a temporary set up to try and replicate the new platforms in Heuston but ended up leaving them there once they were installed 😁
