  1. Couple of screen shots as you can see there's chimneys or vents in the roof over all 4 roads in the shed.
  2. Thanks eamonn Hi robert.iv seen your pics of the diorama.its exceptionally well done.was what I was going for until I saw the brick arches and then the gnri signal box.
  3. Great pictures.plenty of lines idea detail Have you any idea what buildings were beside the turntable.?iv seen glimpse in a video on you tube.
  4. They look fantastic eamonn.was the water tank any higher ? Great pictures.plenty of lines idea detail
  5. Be great to have the space to model this picture iv counted 22 sets of crossings and points ,cost a small fortune in points and motors.
  6. 9Yeah I used Google maps for measurements. While not exact its a good indicator.my shed is 250 mm wide and 900 mm long which is a bit short.turn table is about 200 mm. If you use anyrail you can drop a Google image in and layout track plans over it. Iv stalled as iv no clue how to put it into a layout.id be interested to see how you overcome this as I don't have a lot of space.
  7. I was going to do a modern era too.even made up the side buildings.im doing the 70s so decided to start over.if your interested there was also a signal cabin across from the shed that was knocked down in 1984. Id be very interested to see drawings if you get them.see how far off my measurements were.
  8. What era of shed are you doing?it has 3 roads in and shutters but up the the early 70s it had 4 tracks and 4 brick arches.iv tried to find detailed plans of the shed and out buildings but didn't have any luck.did find on an OS MAP that there was a coal yard beside the turntable.
  9. Always worth asking
  10. Ya any grey ones in stock dave?
  11. Iv 2 black and orange ones.must be worth a small fortune if thsts the case.
  12. You got a freight grey you would sell?
  13. I understand with rare items I paid 350 for an 071 but stuff from big production runs or still produced is just crazy
  14. You can ask these prices but nobody would be mad enough to pay them.but then again there's no accounting for stupid.
  15. I'm going to give them a very light sanding and then use a white primer before the yellow.the decals to do 5 wagons are 22 euro online from studio scale models.i think be a fiddly job stripping the paint.thats how ill do it.i might be wrong but ill give it a go.
