The damaged oil tanks shown in the video at Kilmacthomas were the result of a derailment at Currabaha or Mcgraths Level Crossing just west of Kilmacthomas. The video certainly would inspire you model sections of the line.

Absolutely brilliant news.I have just ordered the 4 packs and the single wagon. The Waterford-Ballinacourty line inspired me to get more intrested in Irish Railways following a vist around Ballyvoyle viaduct in 1992.Following the closure of the Quigley Plant these wagons spent a while in Clonmel and were eventually sent to Enniscorthy in 1983 to be stored. They survived until mid to late 90s when I persume they were cut up.

Park Royal coaches. They would certainly work well with all the liverys of the A class.

This one is undated, taken by Senior. I think it is winter 80/81 but I'm not sure.
.
This, of course, is what would have interested Senior a great deal more! (Plus me, if truth be told....). His pic, Adelaide 1962.
.
But back to the diseasels. Senior wasn't down this way too often, so it should be easier to date this, probably late 80s he had a holiday in this neck'o'the woods..
On of the LCs near Ballinacourty?

Here is some Video, Failed getting into the Oscars so sorry bout the quality, Need more lighting in the cabin.
1st on of a A with Weedy Trains
The 2nd one if MK.2 and a mystery uncoupling!!
again sorry about the quality, The missus had the only fans set up at the time so had to make do with a manual yoke.
Hi George,if you are having trouble with mk2 coaches uncoupling as I did,I replaced with Hornby couplings and found them excellent,no uncoupling or derailing.

If you have the standard Hornby DC controller, that could be the problem as they are notorious for cutting out.I have one for a Thomas set and it's useless.

Thanks TimO.
Bog Road has to fit onto my attic and my 7 seater car,so it's a bit odd especially in the fiddle area as only two roads can be used.My good friend Enda Byrne did a great job building very robust baseboards.

A great day and wonderful to see faces again. Many thanks to Ken Fox who brought the Killeagh-Youghal staff for me to see.And legendary photographr Richard Wall who's 1978 photo of Bog Road Level Crossing near Youghal inspired me to do a layout of it.Oh and Fran twisted me arm to buy the A1 special edition.

The cross pollination with accurascale makes most of the IRM lines possible to be honest but we do have uniquely Irish items trundling towards sample too at the moment including more stock, coaches, units and locos so never fear
HOBS?.

The NIR mk2bs ran to Rosslare in the 90s,I have a photo with 2x141s just outside Enniscorthy around 1993/94.Must have been short of stock that time.

MM 201 Class Fitting Drivers in cabs.

The cab section is akward to remove.Carefully use a small flat screwdriver or something similar with thin plastic. The area you are looking for is the drivers side windows. You will have to try and stick the flat screwdriver down between the loco body and cab section.I think there is some tabs there,It's a long time since I did it so take your time. Both sides have to be prised up.
