    God 10 years,congratulations to IRM/accurascale. I remember the announcement of the ballast wagons,and wondered will these ever appear.I was certainly proved wrong.I knew Stephen, Fran,Patrick from the old MSM forum days from around 2007.It has just been a magical journey. Many thanks.

    I heard today that David Parks passed away.He was a member here as "Derailed".I got to know him a number of years ago and loved his recollections of Irish Railways.I have included two of his photos that are my favourite.First one is the last ever train over the North Kerry line on 23rd May 1984 at Lixnaw,with the weed killer train.The second photo is of the weed killer train on Ballyvoyle viaduct near Dungarvan in 1985 I think. Condolences to his family and friends. RIP David.

    B109 is nearly done,with some touching up of the cab front orange curves.She runs well and looks nice in this livery along with Endas Pal vans and 30 ton brake van.The glazing on the cab areas was to be honest a nightmare,and I was going to redo but in the end I just left it. 20250812_204101.mp4 20250812_204237.mp4

    Cheers,yes I built one a good few years ago and the cab front glazing was challenging. Something to look forward to.

    As well as the Ammonia wagon,for my sins I have taken on a SSM B101 class kit with a Hornby Deltic chassis cut and shut.Still a bit to do such as fuel tank etc.I am thinking of black and tan livery. 20250722_202716.mp4

    I know Enda is working on his own 3d Brake vans at the moment, Should have a sample in a few weeks.

    I was admiring my pack of fitted H and grain vans last night,and the detail is superb.The unfitted versions will be a welcome addition.

    I was just looking at my workbench here and noticed i haven't posted anything in a long time.Anyway today I renumbered C class 225 to 209 using Railtech decals.

    It was my first time to bring Bog Road to Dublin,and I enjoyed chatting to people.The larger venue was a game changer and well done to all in MRSI for a great job.

    When Fran wasn't looking, I sneaked the pre production Park Royals onto Bog Road.They are truly superb and look even better on a layout.

    I may get 101 in blue NIR livery.They look superb.You could haul ferts and cement bubbles with them I persume-freight transfer from Adelaide.
