I don't know if any books as such devoted to the Kingscourt branch, but Colm O Callaghans book from a few years ago had some great images on it.

I would love one,but I think I will wait and hope IRM to do them in the future.

Yes,I remember the Mag wagons when about 1983 they arrived in Enniscorthy Station. Some were stored at the former goods store siding, while others were stored on the long siding North of the Station. They stayed there till the mid 90s where they were either scrapped or moved to another location.

I got my Mags yesterday, they are superb, especially love the detail. The Last Mag limited edition is a nice touch.I won't get to run them until the weekend..

The detail is just superb. I am very tempted to model somewhere on the Ballinacourty branch now.

Had a very enjoyable first day at the show.I was running the clubs layout"Bushville" US HO scale. And the world did not stop turning because of Irish stock on it,indeed people were very complimentary on how it looked and it is now been sold. 20220417_112410.mp4- 45 replies

The cab section is akward to remove.Carefully use a small flat screwdriver or something similar with thin plastic. The area you are looking for is the drivers side windows. You will have to try and stick the flat screwdriver down between the loco body and cab section.I think there is some tabs there,It's a long time since I did it so take your time. Both sides have to be prised up.

The damaged oil tanks shown in the video at Kilmacthomas were the result of a derailment at Currabaha or Mcgraths Level Crossing just west of Kilmacthomas. The video certainly would inspire you model sections of the line.
