No Mk3's ran at 11:00 today on transfer anyway.

They're being brake tested in North Wall today instead now. 7403 & 7607 did transfer today though from Waterford to Inchicore.

The mk3s went past my house on Sunday at about ten to 9. Good video here

They apparently ran around in Central, but there doesn't seem to be any photos of that... pity, even in the 80s and 90s I think the mk3s were quite rare up here... Does anyone know how many more transfers there will be?

I'm going to try my luck at catching them heading from North Wall to Dundalk on Thursday. I'll let you know if they run and you can assume they'll pass your house at the same time Sunday.

Have the 071s had silencers put in? They didn't seem to thunder past there like they used to! Great video!

I'm not sure about that but 088 would have been decelerating at the start of that video as it was stopping on Lavistown Loop not even half a mile from there to run around as seen below. You should have heard it screaming away in the distance before I shot the video

088 and the HOBs did some ballast laying in Kilkenny Wednesday night. This ballasting has been taking place for the passed couple of weeks and will probably continue for the next few weeks also.

Some of you have probably seen the pics of 224 coupled to the MK3s in North Wall on Facebook. There must be another Dundalk transfer soon. Maybe this Thursday seeing as that was the day they ran the last time?

All you can do is go out and see if they turn up next Sunday. Unless you get confirmation of them running at a certain date.

I caught this almost purely by chance yesterday. 075 and the HOBs were working in Kilkenny last night and I caught it arriving and leaving Kilkenny at Lavistown West Junction.

None of them have even made it to Adelaide yet. They were suppose to run the ones currently in Dundalk up there the past two Sundays but it was called off.

Maybe it's because the mk3s currently in Dundalk haven't been moved on to Belfast yet. I would have gone out to see if it ran today if it wasn't for the fact that the wonderful Leaving Cert is holding me back.

I'd say it would be leaving around 11am like it did last week if it was moving today which it may not be.

Here's an excellent video taken by Joseph Newsome of the mk3s on their way to Dundalk.

There are 38 seeming rail worthy mk3s left in North Wall. If they are all being moved to Adelaide for scrapping in rakes of seven then there will be at least five more movements to Dundalk and then further north to Belfast. Does anyone have any info on future movements of the coaches? I heard they might have been moving this Thursday and that the ones currently in Dundalk are moving on Sunday morning.

Sorry to disappoint but I think 082 is on the steel train tomorrow. It rattled a few foundations when it worked the steel train last week so it's a shame it's not on the tour.
