  1. I will check Waterstones for rails through Tipperary as I got rails through the west Limerick to Sligo I thought that was good quality pictures and quality paper thanks for posting
  2. My son ordered 3 A Class locomotives and they were delivered last Friday. They were A12 Black with Yellow, A15 Black & Tan and A36 A Class Irish rail. They were brilliant and so, I have a great collection of A Class locomotives. We got a great variety of liveries in one batch. I’m looking forward to IRM’s next announcement.
  3. I got two parcels from IRM yesterday. They were well packed and of top quality. One was the 017 054 in Irish rail livery in one parcel and the second parcel was the A3R A Class locomotive by the Irish Traction Group. I saw the A3R A Class locomotive at the Wexford Open Day. It was delivered in a lovely box. In my collection, I have Murphy’s Models Class 121 locomotive in RPSI livery.
  4. Looking forward to the Wexford show. Hopefully the IRM announcement will be the Beet wagon or the Ammonia wagons. I’m looking forward to seeing the layouts and the traders at the show.
  5. I got my parcel from IRM, the A Class Special Edition. I’m highly impressed with it. The box was shrink-wrapped to protect the contents. It’s great to have the plaque on the box. I loved the book which accompanied the contents. The diagram of the A Class was very good. I have another parcel to come.
  6. I got a phone call yesterday from Marks Models that my pre-order was in stock. I went in, paid for it and collected it. I got the Super livery A Class 018 number locomotive. Brilliant package and I loved the booklet that accompanied it. Top quality model. I’m looking forward to my models from IRM, I’m getting a few models. Great service from Marks Models.
  7. Thanks for the update looking forward to mine everyday we get closer to receiving them
  8. Congratulations, well deserved. I buy British and Irish models so I have IRM and Accurascale models. I have the KUA Nuclear Flask wagons, the Castle Cement wagons, British Steel wagons and I also have other nuclear wagons. The quality is top notch and you can buy a complete train in one purchase with all different numbers and there’s great value for money in their prices. The British market has become very competitive with new entrants coming into the market and the standards are getting higher.
  9. The Irish Railway Models stand might have new announcements at the show since the Dublin show was cancelled because they sometimes make announcements at shows in the UK (ie Warley 2019). The KUA wagons and Class 37s were announced at Warley 2019 by Accurascale, the sister company to Irish Railway Models.
  10. Great news. I went a couple of times before and there were a wide variety of layouts. The cafe is very good and cheap. Very friendly atmosphere at the exhibition. I travelled to there from Cork.
