  15. I’m going to the Wexford show on Sunday with my wife travelling from Cork. It’ll be an early start for us. I’m looking forward to the show which is very friendly and exhibits great layouts.
  16. I bought pack A of the magnesite wagons in marks models as my son gave me cash for Father’s Day so what better way to spend it top quality wagons very impressed with the detail a nice souvenir to have
  17. I enjoyed a great show yesterday. There were great layouts and the food and tea in the Station Cafe was very good. In the O Gauge layout, the exhibitor put on the Class 37 Large logo livery with the Mark 1 coaches which look stunning. I’m very appreciative of this exhibitor. I got Mainline tank wagons for €10 each and a Mark 1 blue/grey corridor coach for €25. Great value for money. I got Oxford Diecast models. As usual, a very friendly show. I travelled from Cork.
  18. My son bought Accurascale GBRF Coal wagons. Very well packed and stunning wagons. Top quality detail at a great price. He bought 6 wagons in total (pack 1, pack 2 and pack 3). He bought them and I paid for them. Highly impressed with the wagons.
  19. I got my son to order the RPSI Set 1 pack. I prefer to pay in full as it suits my circumstances. I have the Murphy’s Models’ “RPSI Pack” and the pack my son ordered for me will extend the rake. I did pay my son, happy days. It’s great to support the RPSI as I love trains.
  20. In MLIPlus magazine (Issue number 253), there’s a GM’s in Ireland Class 201 article and there’s a superb list of both the Irish and English names as well as the works number of the locomotives. Superb pictures. Superb picture of the Northern Ireland Railways Class 201 (No. 8209) crossing Laytown Viaduct on the Entreprise service on 23 August 2019. Overall, a great magazine. I always look forward to the magazine.
  21. On Page 152 of the February issue of Hornby magazine, Mail Order Key Books, there’s a new paperback book, “Irish Railways; The Last 60 Years” priced at £15.99 plus postage. I got different paperback books from Key Publishing and they’re very informative. Also in the Hornby February issue, there’s a review of the Tara Mines Ore wagons. Quality review.
  22. Many happy returns. Looking forward to the IRM and Accurascale announcements during the year. At least in the model world, it’ll be exciting.
  23. I was surprised that Paddy Murphy changed manufacturer for the 201s locomotives as Bachmann produced the 071s they are outstanding quality model rail magazine review of the 071s they were top quality as Bachmann produce top quality products if Bachmann produced the 201s locomotive they would be better detail as the contract manufacturer to Murphy models
