Two completely different systems which will never interact. Therefore no need for it. The only bugger is if you go searching for 4006 on my website you will get both types unless you put in the stock type (MKIV or LUAS4000) to filter the results to the correct type of stock.

A vegetation clearance programme has recently taken place on the Foynes Branch. This is to allow the ongoing study funded by Shannon Foynes Port Company to be completed to help develop the case for reopening the railway line to freight traffic. To see the progress so far, I took a trip between Limerick and Foynes on a very sunny Saturday 18th April.

Here is today's latest update: Good to meet Heirflick at last!
An hour at Portarlington in search of a delayed DFDS Liner paid off as the train turned up within ten minutes of arriving at the station.
