Afternoon all, Last weekend I was in London for the Hammersmith & City Line 150th Specials. This involved London Underground operating a special steam train service between Moorgate and Hammersmith using Steam Loco Met No. 1 and Electric Loco No. 12 "Sarah Siddons" in top and tail fashion and vintage carriages. Afternoon all, Some updates from the last couple of days: - Stradbally Railway & Vintage Steam Rally 2014 The oldest Steam Rally in Ireland celebrates its 50th Birthday last weekend at Stradbally Hall in Co. After the Steam Rally I popped over to Athy for the delayed 1130 Westport - Waterford Timber hauled by 220 and Monastervin for MKIV services to pass each other. Over the August Bank Holiday weekend the annual Flying In Ireland Magazine & NMAI Flyin was held at Limetree Airfield, near Portarlington in Co. Laois.
