  1. Glen, Thanks for the comments re the show. Re the Bram Stoker train, yes it was and tickets also sold out very fast. http://www.bramstokerfestival.com/portfolio/underground/ From what I was told "plan A" had a lot more in it with a lot happening in the tunnel. However, what the Director envisioned in her mind and what you can actually do on a live operational railway are two different things. Still something a little different from your usual ICR trip. Evening folks, Well today was a rather busy and interesting day. - First of is an afternoon around Dublin with pictures from Heuston, Tara Street, Howth Jct., Harmonstown and Malahide. - Then a selection of pictures from the Model Railway Society of Ireland Exhibition in Raheny. - Finally I took a train journey from Connolly to Heuston, however it wasn't your normal ICR transfer. Something strange happened in the Phoenix Park Tunnel tonight.   5. I meant to try and find that out today when they are going to Ennis. I spoke to the guy concerned at least three times but the day job got in the way of me asking the all important question! lol.
  6. Evening all, 215 and MKIV Set 4007 finally returned to Inchicore Works this evening after their weekend visit to Limerick works to replace a bogie on Standard End carriage 4115. The vehicle suffered a seized axle on the 0700 Heuston - Cork last Thursday.   7. The trains are crewed by IE staff (Drivers / Guard) with a RPSI Ops Manager and on board train staff for passenger facilities.
